Year 1 ended their Term 2 Science topic about plants and trees with a great couple of days at Umm Al Emarat Park this week.

On Friday 10th March, 20 students from Year 4 to Year 12 visited Yas Marina Circuit as part of their F1 in Schools Teams programme.

We are delighted to announce that Infinite Sports, our third party CCA provider are hosting their Spring camp at BIS Abu Dhabi during the end of the term break from the 27th March - 7th April, from 8am – 3pm.

The Virtual Young Musician of the Year competition 2023 now has an extended date of 31st March 2023 for entries.

This week we have had the pleasure of taking Year 3 on a field trip to Umm Al Emarat Park. We were thoroughly impressed with how sensible and well-behaved they were throughout the entire experience.

Over the past couple of weeks, our Year 5 students have had a great time exploring the Eastern Mangrove Marine Park with Noukhada Adventure Company and learning about the importance of this fragile ecosystem.

Lights, Camera, Enzyme Action!

On Friday, 3rd March, 43 Year 10 DofE Bronze Award students made their way to Fujairah for their 2-day one night Practice and Qualifying Journey’s.

Last weekend saw the British International School Abu Dhabi host the U11 BSME Large School Games.

Yesterday we hosted the first Young Leaders Conference for Year 6 and 7 students.

In last week’s newsletter we saw the fantastic cyanotypes created by our Year 10 Photography students in their Art & Design Exam at the start of last week. 

On Wednesday 22nd February, the first groups of BIS Abu Dhabi’s Bronze and Silver DofE students 🥉🥈 embarked on the mountains of Fujairah for their DofE Qualifying Expedition.

Japanese Culture Day was a wonderful experience for the Year 5 students at our school. The day was filled with activities and workshops that provided a unique insight into Japanese culture.

We are thrilled to be the proud hosts of the BSME U11 Games from Friday, 3rd to Sunday, 5th March and would love to share this fun-packed weekend with you and your family.
