Students in Year 10 received an information assembly about the Duke of Edinburgh Award for this academic year.

This Wednesday, FS2 parents joined us for a Read Write Inc (RWI) Phonics Workshop.

Yesterday marked the 10th UAE Flag Day. It is a time when we all stop and act as one. A time that unites the country both in celebration and reflection.

Monday, 25th October was not your usual Monday morning if you were one of 126 Year 7 students at BIS Abu Dhabi. This Monday required you to arrive at school with a sleeping bag, a tent and a bag full of treats for your two-day adventure! It was the day the students had all been waiting for...Year 7 camp!

During the month of October, BIS Abu Dhabi have been celebrating Black History Month in line with the UK’s timings of the celebration.

On Thursday, 27th October the whole school came together for an incredible BIS Abu Dhabi House Day! 

What a brilliant return to school! This week was our Year 7 camp and sleep over led and supported by our passionate teachers, there were students busking and singing on the front steps and in the corridors, an inspiring Black History Month presentation led by Taabeer in Year 13 and on top of that we had the return of House Day, which was exceptional.  

BIS Abu Dhabi are excited to welcome Manchester Thunder coaches into our school In November to deliver Netball Masterclasses within our girls PE curriculum.

On Thursday, 13th October the Year 1 team had the pleasure of welcoming parents back into school for the first showcase of the year. 

Year 6 have made incredible memories this week participating in the activity days run by North Star.

Congratulations to the BISAD Chess Team on their fantastic success! 

On Wednesday, 12th October the BIS Abu Dhabi community hosted a very successful PINKTOBER Parent Coffee Morning in aid of Breast Cancer.

Exciting opportunity for Senior School students. 

On Monday, 3rd October we saw the return of the first Abu Dhabi International School Sports Association (ADISSA) swim gala hosted by BIS Abu Dhabi. 

On Tuesday, 4th October Nursery students were very excited to welcome their families into school.

To mark the birth of Proper Muhammad (PBUH), BIS Abu Dhabi hosted a lecture for parents run by our Islamic teacher Dr. Abdul Raheem.

On Friday, 14th October BIS Abu Dhabi will be hosting the Business Marketing International (BMI) Universities Fair. Students in Year 11 to Year 13 are invited to the join the event along with their parents.
