BA
Jakie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Beijing Normal University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from Renmin University of China. Her academic background, which bridges educational theory and developmental psychology, provides her with a strong foundation for understanding how children learn and grow.
Grounded in both scholarly study and hands-on teaching practice, Jakie has developed a clear and heartfelt teaching philosophy: every child is a born learner, explorer and creator, endowed with unlimited potential. She firmly believes that no two children follow the same path in their growth. Each student, she holds, can discover their unique strengths, make continuous progress through ongoing learning and exploration, achieve their personal goals, and ultimately become the best version of themselves.
In the classroom, Jakie creates a nurturing and encouraging environment where students feel safe to take challenges, ask questions and express themselves. She places equal importance on academic development and emotional support, understanding that confidence and motivation are essential to language acquisition.
In this academic year, Jakie’s primary focus is to strengthen students’ Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, while cultivating good learning habits and a lasting interest in Chinese culture. She is committed to helping every child make steady progress and develop the confidence to use Chinese effectively and authentically in their daily lives.
