Since beginning her journey in international education almost 17 years ago, Sonia Delestree has worked as a Primary classroom teacher, language specialist and in a variety of leadership roles, including Curriculum Coordinator, Head of Year, Phase Leader and, most recently, Head of EAL and Professional Learning Lead at BSB Shunyi.
She has successfully led initiatives that have enhanced student learning beyond the classroom, including the development of our Saturday School programme and support for our Summer School provision.
Sonia holds a CELTA, a PGCE, a Master’s in Education and the Nord Anglia Middle Leadership certification. This year, she will begin the Nord Anglia Senior Leadership Programme as she joins the Primary Senior Leadership Team.
