Leonid Voronin is a professional French horn player and brass teacher with a strong background in orchestral performance and music education. He began his musical studies at the Mogilev State Gymnasium-College of Arts, where he trained as a French horn player and graduated with qualifications as an Artist, Creative Ensemble Leader and French Horn Teacher. He later continued his education at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, graduating in 2020 as a Concert Performer and Teacher.
Leonid has extensive orchestral experience. He served as Principal Horn of the Concert Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and currently performs with the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra and the Moscow Art Academic Theatre named after M. Gorky. His international experience includes concert tours in China and participation in the XX International Italian Brass Week in Florence.
Alongside his performing career, Leonid has taught music and French horn to students of different ages, including online teaching at a school in China from 2019 to 2023. At ISM, he aims to combine professional musicianship with clear, engaging teaching, helping students develop strong musical foundations, confidence, discipline, teamwork and a genuine enjoyment of ensemble playing.
