Samer believes a surface problem is rarely the real one. It's a habit that came from studying Aircraft Design at the Moscow Aviation Institute, where getting to the root cause was the whole focus, and it's the same habit he brings to the classroom. Before deciding how to respond to a child or a situation, he takes the time to see the full picture, so every child feels properly heard.
In lessons, he is more interested in how a child reaches an answer than in the answer itself. Rather than closing the gap for them, he will ask a question back, or point to where something might be found. It is a small thing at this age, but it is where independence starts. He believes curiosity is the most important skill a child can build, it is what makes everything else possible.
Samer speaks English, Arabic, and Russian. Outside school, he plays padel tennis and keeps a close eye on developments in technology and business. What he wants most is for children to leave his classroom knowing they can find things out for themselves.
