As we reach the conclusion of our first half term, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the progress our children have made.

Our first meeting took place on 4 October and we are very excited to be part of this spectacular whole school event. We are still looking for more help - whether you can sponsor or donate or volunteer at a part of our event, we welcome every bit of contribution! This past week has been filled with energy, courage, and plenty of fun, as the children began to prepare for our Global Sports Challenge.

Last week the Secondary campus undertook a three-day external IB reevaluation visit. This involved the evaluation team observing lessons, meeting with leaders, teachers, parents and students.

As we embark on another busy and engaging week, it’s heart-warming to reflect upon the many success stories already emerging across the school this term.

Last Friday, our Year 1 and Reception classes had the fantastic opportunity to attend a performance of The Gruffalo at the theatre.

It was great to see so many parents attend our after-school Curriculum Meetings where Heads of Year and Teachers shared what is ahead for our children.

I hope everyone had a great the Mid-Autumn Festival, we thoroughly enjoyed celebrating during assembly led by the Chinese Department.

I hope all students have been enjoying their return to school this academic year. I just wanted to write to remind you all that this is the final week for entries for the NAISHK Young Musician of The Year 2024.

I hope that you all had a fabulous time during the Mid-Autumn Festival, and that you all managed to enjoy yourselves, whilst navigating the thunderstorms and Red Rain over the weekend.

Our EXCO and committee members had our kick off meeting on 20th September. We have set up working teams and interest groups and we welcome all parents to join.

Thank you so much for attending last week's Parent-Teacher Conferences. Your involvement in these meetings is invaluable, and we truly appreciate the partnership we share in supporting your child's growth and learning.

PTA had a fruitful week with a meaningful mooncake donation to a neighborhood senior center, a welcome drink night for our key PTA volunteers and a coffee morning for Year 1-3 parents.
