I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Lunar New Year with your loved ones. As we step into the Year of the Horse, our students have returned to school full of excitement and energy, ready to gallop into a fun and vibrant term ahead.

Last Thursday, our Nursery children enjoyed a memorable outing to the theatre for a performance of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'.

What an extraordinary Primary Sports Day we enjoyed on Friday!

A very warm welcome to this week’s update. We are currently celebrating Lunar New Year across the school—the Year of the Horse, which symbolises energy, confidence and moving forward with purpose.

We are looking forward to our upcoming Chinese New Year Celebrations in school which will be complimented by Lunar New Year Rice Collection supporting Chee Sing Kok Social Centre for Elderly (CSK).

It has been a week full of reasons to celebrate our students’ success! Our U12 Basketball team has been crowned champions — a tremendous achievement that reflects their teamwork and dedication.

What a joyful week it has been across our Early Years Campus!

Our Year 1 and Reception children headed off to the theatre last week to see The Gruffalo’s Child.

Over the past few weeks, our students have taken part in a rich programme of learning opportunities that are enriching and add depth that extends beyond the classroom door.

Team Tanzania have landed safely, and the updates have been truly amazing! From building goat sheds to going on safari, our students have been working exceptionally hard, proudly leading the Nord Anglia schools who have also arrived — including International College Spain (ICS) from Madrid, Nord Anglia International School Al Khor, and Eaton School from Mexico City.

Last week, our students across the campus have been developing their early writing skills.

January marked the start of Health Month, a whole school initiative designed to celebrate and promote healthy, active living across our community by Ms. Ni Si Dixon, who advocates for deeper commitments to Wellbeing for, and by, us all.

We have made a fantastic start to Term 2 and 2026! Our Year 11 students have returned from the Christmas break ready to complete their mock examinations.

Happy New Year - 2026, and a warm welcome back to the second term of our academic year. Although this half term is just five weeks, it’s a joyful, fun‑filled five weeks with rich learning experiences for all.

As we begin a new term, I would like to pause and express my sincere gratitude to our community. The close of last term reminded us of the power of collective action and the difference we can make when we work with intention and kindness.

Happy New Year and welcome to 2026! We are excited to begin Term 2, a pivotal period for our students. Year 11 embarks on their mock examinations, while Year 13 students continue with their university applications and interviews — always an exciting yet demanding time of year.

As we approach the end of this wonderful first term, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible achievements of our children and share the joy of last week’s festive performances.

As we approach the end of an excellent and rewarding term, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and partnership.

As Term 1 draws to a close, it’s been an energetic and inspiring few months. Our school values have been alive on campus, with House spirit filling the air.

As we begin this week, our thoughts remain with all those affected by the devastating Tai Po fire.
