ADMISSIONS CRITERIA

Compass International School Doha is a welcoming, nurturing international school community for children aged 3 to 19, where every child is encouraged to feel known, supported and inspired to thrive.

We offer rolling admissions throughout the academic year, which means your child can join our Compass community at any time, subject to availability in their year group.

In line with our admissions requirements and Qatar Ministry of Education guidelines, year-group placement is determined by your child’s date of birth and previous schooling. Students must have successfully completed the previous academic year before progressing to the next year group.

From your very first enquiry, our Admissions Team will be here to guide your family through every step of the journey. We can answer your questions, talk you through our admissions criteria and availability, and help you determine which of our campuses is the best fit for your child.

We would also love to welcome you for an in-person campus tour or, if you are currently outside Qatar, arrange a virtual discovery meeting so you can learn more about Compass from wherever you are.

Compass Doha operates an open admissions policy, but we do ask prospective students from upwards to sit an age-appropriate entrance assessment.

We do this to make sure we can meet each learner’s needs. All assessments are carried out face to face at your selected Compass campus.

For international families who are not yet in Qatar but are planning for their child to join Compass when they arrive, we can support you with completing the assessment remotely from your current location.
